I look above to the heavens at the unimaginably grand processes that unfold above me. I look deeply, past the details of my human existance, and see the microscopic world that is ubiquitous among all living things on this planet. Staring, I see truth staring back. Its all part of the same process, repeated at all scales, and through time. That unity between all things is at the basis of my work. I strive to deconstruct, and simplify my forms and colors in order to come closer to a universal. It's shared between us all.

My name is Josh Krey (JKrey) and I am a painter, musician and designer living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. After getting a degree in visual communications from UC Davis I rekindled my love for fine art and art materials and began a quest for honest artistic expression and thus started sharing my talent and vision with my earth community. I strive to inform my work with cultural wisdom, history, and artistic motif. I hope that my work dismantles the illusion of difference between ourselves and all things, and brings the viewer to a truth in unity.
